no reason
The loss of a loved one
  Will never compare
To the pounding and everlasting sadness that lingers
  In your heart’s despair

  We resent
  We regret
  We overthink
  We reach the brink

  Begging for an answer
  Or a reason
  Or a simple discussion
To explain why you’re being dragged around like the favorite blanket of a two-year-old
Sadness strikes from time to time
  Yet nothing gives reason
  To the agony presented
  And a life being tormented
And out of an over-priced house you rented
Comes the expense less suffering you never asked for
  Unimaginable
  Uncontrollable
  Irrational Destruction
