Depression? : Poem 5 of my Six: Spoken word poetry Anthology
You keep flashing in and out,
Leaving me confused as to whether you are really there or not,
Is this going to be my life?
I don't even think what I'm feeling could fit into your category,
Because after all you are just a label,
But that doesn't mean that my mind is stable.
Just a label yet so frightening,
The mention of you and my pulse rate is heightening.
Why am I so afraid of you?
Is that a sign that indeed I have you?
Whether or not that's the case, I have enough hope to last,
Because I know that this too shall pass.
