My Swing-Maker
He would smile and saw
I would giggle and talk
He would drill holes
And I would count blocks
But we’d be in the same ring,
Just him and me
He’d weave the rope and tie it down,
While I’d wait for my new wood throne
I’d sit myself down
And he’d hold my hands
On the sturdy rope you see
He’d make me fly
And I’d say “Not too high”
But what a grand time it was
We’d spend our days this way
Not playing games
Or watching T.V
Just enjoying the company

"We've got this gift of love, but love is like a precious plant. You can't just accept it and leave it in a cupboard or just think it's going to get on by itself. You've got to keep watering it. You've got to really look after it and nurture it." - John Lennon

"In my end is my beginning."... - T.S. Eliot
