Septic Suppression
At the ripe age of ten, her innocence was robbed. With nightmares every night, her broken soul sobbed.
Mirrors were all covered,
ashamed of the sight.
Despite having the support,
no one understood her plight.
Society was no less,
daggering through her heart.
All her days and nights,
were spent breaking apart.
She turned sixteen,
so beautiful and strong.
Jokes on other people,
how badly they were wrong. For she still had nightmares, she still cried at nights. Suppressing herself in darkness, she turned off all the lights.
