That Funny Feeling

What is love? I ask myself with wonder.
Such a secret left in the hands of God,
Blind with beauty my heart beats like thunder.
You hold my heart like two peas in a pod.

When I gaze at those eyes they pierce my soul,
That smile brings the very strong to their knees.
He takes my hand: My heart is swallowed whole,
I already know I am his to seize.

I do not care should my health start to fail,
This beats colds, or even the flu,
This illness I have is the best of all
My sickness is that I’m in love with you.

For love is contagious, this we all know,
So take the great plunge and go with the flow!

I like this poem much better than Typical Teenager. The flow is tons better in this poem, and unlike Typical Teenager, (no offense)this one has a good balence of rhyme and reason.
