I am from playing soccer everyday
With sweat soaking through my hair
From bacon-avacado sandwiches
And lemon juice
I am from the cool swiming pool
On swealtering days
From gem and mineral shows
And the balance beam
I am from cold winter nights in the skating rink
Lacing up white figure skates
From crab with butter
Splatered on the clean carpet floor
I am from finding dinosaur bones in wyoming
And my cousins house in San Antonio, TX
From dancing in front of a crowd
And bobby pins, hair spray, and ponytails
I am from times like this when life shines before your eyes.
