Reminisces
Inscribed in ink,
Across the contours of your skin,
Lie my memories:
No embellishments,
No cut corners,
Just my reminisces
Seeping their way
Into your bloodstream
In the dusk,
The sky’s colors
kkn
Will paste reflections in your eyes
And yet your shadow follows you,
A constant reminder
Of what you have chosen
To forget
Will it catch up to you?
When you see your dark imprint
Out of the corner of your eye
Or the ink that’s running down your arms.
