ode to my lip gloss

Lip gloss like
Lotion to my dry skin
But on my lips
comes out thick like
Syrup on pancakes
What would I do
Without lip gloss
Lip gloss shiny
Like grills in your mouth
Colorful Like rainbows
Lips gloss flavol like jolly ranchers
sometimes I don't need candy
Just gotta lick my lips
When I don’t have you my lips be chapped
Like toast without butter lip gloss
I planned to be with you forever
Thanks for never leaving my pocket
We’ll stay shining till the end
