Sitting here in this dark and lonely room
My mind suddenly becomes full of the me and you
You were the peanut butter to my jelly
The Bobby and I'm your Whitney
I was the tree and you were my roots
 You complimented me
 And I complimented you
Your smile shows vividly in my mind
And I'm wondering where the time went that we grew apart
I close my eyes but the pain doesn't fade
The memories just don't go away
As my eyes are closed I can see our tree being uprooted from the ground
 And I begin to cry
Because as I sit here in this room
 I remember all the lies
I remember you staying out late saying you're on your way
But I still wake up next to this empty space
