Corrupt Love
In her heart, there is a tar-like substance festering,
The vile ink is bubbling, glistening, and blistering.
This dark but shiny ink splatters onto my affection,
Her heart slowly pounds this corrupt sludge like an infection,
The shimmering ink burns my spirit like a fire gone wild.
In spite of all of this, I still looked at her and smiled.
The horrid ink creates a mask, she's always been so clever!
As the grime oozes from her soul, it stains mine forever.
