There once was a young boy

His name was Evan Green

He spent his whole life thinking

That writing wasn’t a “cool” thing

He loved reading when he was young

He thought about writing too

But when he brought it up to a friend

They said that wouldn’t do

So Evan gave up for a while

He stopped reading so much

However, a few years later

By a poem, he’d been touched

He decided then and there

That he didn’t care what others thought

That he would start writing

Writing tips and tricks he sought

Poem after poem he wrote

He fell in love with writing

He starting writing short stories too

Which were all very exciting

After a while he talked to his friend again

This time his friend was okay

With Evan writing on his own

Even was glad they reacted this way

Evan continued to write more and more

Growing better each day

One day he found a website about writing

And he submitted some of his work right away

His writing was one day recognized

He was incredibly joyed

He decided this was his passion

For writing he always enjoyed

Hello, I wrote this poem about a young boy who gave up on writing because it was not considered "cool" when he was younger. However, he fell in love with writing once again when he was older.
