Happy Mother's Day
I look back on the past 13 years
To see how much I’ve grown
You’ve cared for me through happiness and tears
Your loving nature has truly shown

I look up to you, mom
 And appreciate everything you do
I know sometimes it’s difficult to stay calm
When you have children like us two

Once a year we have a day
 To celebrate our mothers
I’m thanking you for the sacrifices you pay
And letting you know you’re like no other

Through these years you’ve tried your best
To raise me and my brother well
The many obstacles you have faced
 Are too many to tell

Your loving, kind, and caring personality
Has made me who I am today
If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be me
And that’s something I’m grateful for everyday

With you in my life I feel truly blessed
And on Mother’s Day, I want you to know
That I think you are the very best
And I love you more than words can show
