"Numquam finitur, donec vita finiatur."

Lost, nowhere to go

Frost, turns into snow

Cold, my heart is chilled

Old ghosts, the ones I killed

Haunt me, wanting life back

Retreat, as they attack

I realize, that they're all me

Real eyes, now I can see

Old me, long-thought dead

He creeps inside my head

"Hello," is all he says

I know, not a "sixth-sense"

We all have our ghosts

Skeletons in closets, that no one knows

Well, mine are worse; they never go

As I wander, eternally lost in the snow

Of the tundra within my heart

I've been lost, since the start

The author's comments:

This ballad depicts the feeling of coldness, and emptiness that some feel when they "kill their old selves."

Changing, for better or worse, sometimes causes us to feel strange emotions. For myself, it made me feel as if I was lost, trying to find myself again.
