Thank You
Like rain, sorrow comes pounding down on my life,
Like a river, my thoughts are washed away as inconsequential strife,
Like an ocean, I get swept up in a painful current,
Like a pool, I seem to dive right into my own torment,

But like a lifeboat, someone comes to rescue me,
Like a buoy, I find a safety place so far out at sea,
Like an island, I find refuge,
And to this person who saved me, I can only say, thank you.
