The Perfect Day

Closed eyes,
And a breeze upon my face,
A wave
And an arm around me just in case.
Arms open,
Pretending to fly,
Suns warmth,
So perfect, it seems a lie.
Head up,
With an assurance anew,
Heart pounding,
this adventure with you.
Waves crash,
the sound that I love,
Seaguls cry,
from their world up above,
The boat rocks,
With the gentle disturbance,
We drift off,
And disappear in the distance,
Eyes closed,
With the wind at my back...
A wave,
of sadness... all i want it to go back...
