time of peace and time of silence
no more reason to cause the violence
once short gasps now whole breaths
my heart healed finally rests
inspiration once made of sadness
turned to something of happiness
tears dried without a glisten
heart clear no longer beaten
love the feeling of being whole
the silence really has taken its toll

I just read about five mediocre poems in a row and I was becoming numb. And then I read this one, and it shocked me after the first two lines, I had to go back and start over again and really read it. I loved it. The way the words flow together, and even the word choice. Good job. :)
