The Eagle flys far above the land
Knowing no boundaries was its intent plan
Spreading its wings, it begins to soar
The clouds and the sky it will not ignore
Its passion for happiness is above all the rest
For the Eagle knows that's what it seeks best
Taking a slow dip toward the ground
It never wants to be found
The freedom of the Eagle is limitless
So it flies into the sun in pure bliss
Feeling the soothing warmth on its back
It knows there is one thing it may lack
The Eagle paints the sky for another night
Bearing a deep blue, with no light
Looking up to the big sky, it misses the sun
Knowing that it's journey has just begun
Here it comes another day
And up to the sun it goes stealing a single ray
The Eagle bends and twist the little light
Then waits for its time to come, the night
Painting the sky dark blue
The Eagle adds its own sun too
But bits and pieces falls off as it goes
And to where? Only the sky may know
Looking up in awe, the Eagle smiles
"Moon" it says, " is what I'll name you, my child"
