The Raven King
Ashes clouding up the sky
Darkness cloaks me like a blanket
It seems a perfect day to die
My heart is cracked like a broken trinket

The Earth is swept in disarray
And those who loved me have forsaken
 Overcome by their dismay
 Everyone's sanity has been shaken

The ravens sing a lonesome tune
I turn my gaze up to meet them
They're marking that my death is soon
Their cries are heard above the bedlam

 Slowly I begin to rise
Knowing that this is the end
The tears are streaming from my eyes
I'll exit life without a friend

The ravens are my only allies
They're singing out to mourn for me
It's time to escape from all the lies
It's time to make my last decree

Death takes me in a single swoop
My body falls onto the ground
The ravens circle in a loop
To mourn their king who was never crowned
