It's hard to be 13,
It's even harder than being a "tween",
You may think it seems fun,
But there's just so much to be done,
You think certain people are your friends,
But the truth starts to bend,
When you look on social media sites,
And see your not on their invite,
You start to get pimples,
Which does NOT go good with dimples,
You get loads of homework,
Which gets you extremely overworked,
Your parents think you have "a bad attitude",
Which puts them and you in a bad mood,
You're obsessed with the electronics,
And your grandparents wonder why you can't stick with the comics,
The gossip starts to spread,
After one thing someone said,
Friends turn on your back,
And that's when your confidence starts to lack,
Your life turns upside-down,
Which makes you fall to the ground,
But it all turns out ok,
You get stronger everyday,
It's hard to be 13.
