why i write :

you ask why i write?
i write
because it consists of a pen a life that stays in motion
because i fear the time where i will not consume creativity
because it is where my head bows down to my thoughts

you ask why i write ?
i write
because i bleed ink
because every sorrow or sin drips on paper
because it's where i search my heart for finger prints that be permanent

still you ask why i write ?
i write
because i live on breathable words
because i reek in emotion yet rare
because i hear the calling of a pen a life waiting to be lived

to write is to rely on lines
to write is to weaken a stiff mind
to write is to navigate ones guide

i fear the day i become my very own mime

as a child i would think that the world was a rhyme

outspoken i was indeed looking for a sign

never did i think of gaining a single dime


a child who thought of the world as a line

a line being drawn by no one but me … i dragged that line … a line with edges and curves throughout time.
