Unsaveable Savior
So lost and so alone
 The darkness is closing in
My skin grows tighter on my bones
As I ponder all my sins

I need help but no one sees
All they do is take from me
I'm growing more infected with my disease
And no one wants to hear my plea

 I've saved countless others
Stretching my hand out in the darkness
 I've rescued all my brothers
But they and I are wrapped in starkness

So I sit here all alone
 Perched upon my shelf
As my skin grows tighter on my bones
I am the hero who can't save himself
