Board 3 (Black Wins)
The air was fair,
We sat in our chair,
Fingers cracked then clenched,
Pieces faced in,
Foreshadowed a win,
Then we shook each others hand.
Knights came out first,
Which determined the worst,
Not for me but for my opponent,
Soon he got nervous,
Because I was ambitious,
His fate was slowly sealed.
A bishop sac' here,
A knight sac' there,
My opponent was in shock,
He did not see this coming,
but he found his king running.
From g8 to h4
I was six moves from checkmate,
Thanks to my bait,
His king was forced into a trap,
The game was over,
His king tumbled over,
He Shook my hand and left.
