My Mom
I just want you to know
you mean the world to me,
only a heart as dear as yours
could love me wholeheartedly.
The many unselfish acts you have done.
All my activities near and far, you were there.
You helped me to recognize deep inside
how much you care.
I love you without reason,
you show me that you care.
Working yourself to depletion
you show me how to be kind and fair.
Even though I might not show it
I’m appreciative for all you do.
Blessed is how I feel
with a mother as awesome as you.
