One-Sided Love
Full of hatred from the start,
Are they even our friend?
Inconspicuously admiring within the heart
A sudden feeling that seems to never end.
For months, it has carried on
Maybe years guided further by hope,
Constantly replayed like a song
Tugged in even closer by their ropes.
The truth remains silent
As we drift closer intact,
For the consequences, may be violent
And the train loses its track.
Unknown as what to do next
For what the future might hold,
Looked back on to reflect
Another tale repetitively told.

This piece was inspired by the feeling of love that we struggle with the most, and even though its something that is most likely never gonna happen, we always think about it for hope that it will.
