I asked myself that question when families were being separated at the border.
And now one year and 171 days into the Trump presidency, I am still asking myself this question.
“Where are you, Obama?”

Are you kidding me?
Children
crying
wailing
America
being starved
by a president who doesn’t
care
And you are making TV shows and playing golf.
How dare you?
America needs you.
“Where are you, Obama?”
You are meant to be our savior.

Instead, you are lazing around
“Where are you, Obama?”
Where is our leader?
Where is the man who stood up for our rights and made America great?
“Where are you, Obama?”
When I was little, I adored you
Now I see a man who has thrown America off his shoulders
“Where are you, Obama?”
“Where is my hero?”
