How long does it take
Before I can't seem to remember.
All the good times we had
That somehow seem to simmer.
How long does it take
Before I realise that I am awake.
Traveling through life, though
Which part should I partake.
How long does it take
Before I cry a river of tears.
Analysing our activities
That dispersed over the years.
All this stored up anger, now
Where should it all lead.
Stirring up this question, as
How Long should it be?
