Rain
Seeing your face in the pouring rain
Watching your damp hair
Feeling my heart thump in my chest
Meeting piercing eyes across too far a distance
Hearing the thunder’s sweet vibrations
Flinching as lightning cracked through the sky
Running for shelter
Shivering in the cold
Falling for your eyes, your heart, your soul
Cleansing my past, healing my spirit
Moving with the rain and the wind
Watering eyes
Shaking hands
Fragile heart

The rain moves emotions, conducts a certain form of electricity. This poem is about a moment I experienced one Friday night in the pouring rain.
