The mask that covers
Her pain
Her sadness
Everything
As she giggles
Smiles
Jokes
Along with the others
While holding
Up the mask
She lets it down at night
And the sadness she holds
In her chest
Comes out
with a silent ache
No tears come
But white knuckles do
As she wonders
Is life really worth it
