Why is everything black and white?

Life used to be colorful

Like a field of roses and tulips

The moving wind

Blowing through my hair

But then the flowers started fading away

Losing their beautiful colors

The wind became violent

Life was like a raging black sea

Destroying everything in its path

Black and white were the only colors I could see

The voices in my head were overpowering

Screaming at me in words I didn’t understand

So loud that I became deaf to my own thoughts

I didn’t know how to feel anymore

So here I stand alone, barely holding on

In my black and white world

Unable to breathe

Unable to see

If I leave, will everything be the same?
