Red Waves
I was always in a small dark place
Hoping to be brought to life
Fresh air hitting my body
Stretching to smoothen my body
With red waves all over my skin
Red
Anger, Love, compassion, chaos
I’m strong, who can take anything
To protect my items
To protect a small golden heart
Feeling so proud of what she created
Simple yet beautiful
Waves of all the ups and downs of life
Just enjoying my new life.
With a young girl
She looks like my creator, but it not
She didn’t want me
Time passed
She held me close to her heart
Feeling her sadness
Then placing the small golden heart
For me to protect

In my creative writing class were assigined an activity. An activity where we played clay. Creating something, but all while thinking what that piece of clay would feel and say if they had a voice. This is a poem I wrote based off of words and phrases I enjoyed throughout the story I wrote about the clay's life.
