My Best Friend for Life
Having this disease makes life hard.
You could say,
“I don’t think that’s right.”
yet true or not,
that one sentence ruins my whole day.
Even just the ticks a clock makes
will make me want to scream!
This disease is like none other.
Nobody understands how
triggered I get it’s just so…
hard.
Depression falls on top of me.
It covers me with a thick blanket
and makes me sleep when nobody else does.
This disease makes me ball my eyes out when my mom asks,
“What do you want for dinner?”
I lay in bed for a few nights
when all of a sudden I smile.
I laugh even though I was crying last night.
This disease is on going forever.
This disease is a part of my everyday life.
This is Bipolar, my best friend for life.

My whole life I have felt different from everybody else and then I found out I had Bipolar disorder. I have had a lot of ups and downs in my life but I have always gotten back up and learned how to deal with bipolar instead of letting it get to me.
