My eyes
My immediate family has a mixture of both blue and brown eyes. Our eyes define who we are, like a dictionary defines a word. They are not giant, green, or wide. But they are wise, inquisitive and interesting. My brother and father share the same shade of ocean blue. Their eyes can pierce through your soul with one stare. My eyes are the color of an iced mocha from starbucks… always attentive and shiny like a new car. People or teachers may think I am not paying attention, but I'm fully aware of my surroundings.
And my mother's, my mother’s eyes are a maple brown. She is sweet as the maple in her eyes. They are brown, just like mine... classy, clear and confident all of the time.
