I see you in my dreams and awake with a smile
Then I remember all the things you said that put me down and hid the old me from the world
I don’t remember when things turned around
But I watched as you did
I’m scared to talk so I write
I’m scared to leave so I stay and hide
I can’t count on anyone so I wait
But not on you
Because you’re someone from the past
