Blue
My family’s eyes are dark blue. Like the bottom of an ocean that the light doesn’t reach. They’re unnoticeable and become trapped in our faces. My sister, however, has summer sky eyes. The type that appear cold and callous, but are warm and inviting. The type that match the wind and dance in the light. The type that are the rain and the sun and the snow all at once. My sister’s eyes are crystal clear lakes and ours are plain blue.
