Taking a look at the Sun on a Summer Day
The sun so beautiful and radiant,
Not allowing anyone to soak up in the shadiness.
He and I are just as brilliant
Even when days seem to be the rainiest.
So I stop here to look up at Him,
Admiring how He never seems to go dim
Everyone feels warm and safe
Even if their day has been just too grim.
His glow is bouncing off of my face
Filling all of my empty space
My heart now shines with the colors of yellow
Always reminding me that it is good to have faith.
He and I are always so soft, vivid, and mellow
As we greet each and every one of you with a hello,
I think all of this as I sit under the willow.
I think all of this as I sit under the willow.

This piece was written for my poetry portfolio. It is reflected off of one Robert Frost's poems.
