Raptured Heart
I thought a tortured mind
Was an ocean at midnight.
Crazy, crashing loudly onto the beach below,
In the crystal, black night
That blinds me with my eyes open.
But a dark ocean can be
Comforting,
It’s coldness and rage in the back of my sanity.
And you are sweet more like the dawning
Sun,
Rising over the dunes till they are golden,
Like they were toasted warmly.
And whether it be darkness or warmth,
I wish to feel it all.
Enthused of the idea of it all.
Raptured is my heart.
