Human, kind
We are all one kind.
We are not all kind.
why.
I have never understood.
We’re all one kind,
and yet
we aren’t all kind.
We grow, we rest, we try,
we fall, together.
All together.
Humankind.
Kind human.
Different.
There’s a difference, but
should there be?
Let’s be someone,
a kind someone.
Only someone, not
someone’s.
We are all one kind.
We are not all kind.
My perspective is only one
of many, but
it seems as if humans almost
choose
to not be
kind.
Even though it burns more,
to not be
kind,
it doesn’t numb the pain,
it fuels it.
Fuels that awful
fire, that
manipulates
humans to not be
kind.
To not be
kind,
is to not be human.
We are all one kind.
We are not all kind.
When you are
kind,
you’ll notice it’s easier,
simpler.
Kindness removes
some of that
weight, extinguishes
some of that
fire.
Human,
kind.
We can be
both.
We should be
both.
We are
humankind.
