Forget
When will this cycle of forgetting end?
February 14, 2018,
17 people were murdered
Yet they are forgotten.
December 14, 2012
20 children and 6 adults were murdered
Yet they are forgotten.
October 27, 2018
A little over a month ago
11 people were murdered
Yet they are forgotten.
We forget
We forget about these victims
But do you know who doesn’t forget?
The families
The people who will walk this world for the rest of their lives
With a hole
In their heart.
They don’t forget.
But we will
We always do.
So it will never stop.
