Birdwatching
She wishes to kiss the lips of a dreamer,
To fall between the cracks of her mind
And let her thoughts take flight.
Someday Inspiration will perch on her shoulder
And spread his wide wings and sing for her.
Then she will write the poem she dreams about.
She waits for him eagerly with blank pages,
Searching the endless skies for the bird,
She created by her own thoughts.
