My True Identity
I am a supernova
gazing at the limitless amount of stars
the brightest one, ignored
the brightest, not the brightest no more
forgotten with the come of new.
The creation of something new a star
at the destruction of the Nova
ending the Nova era becoming old news.
Old replaced by the star
brother of old shinning brighter longer
never to disappear growing stronger
the new star replacing the nova.
The Nova is neglected not recognized
forever brighter than the nova
now everyone can only see the star.
The Nova, fading not to be regarded
aching to be noticed again
if only temporarily
desiring to be brighter.
A supernova, truly me.
