i only hear your voice in all the worlds noise.

when you fall in love with everyone you see,

you learn the difference between being alone and being lonely.

when you fall in love with everyone on the sidewalk,

you begin to doubt if there is a chance in the world that you will ever only belong to one person.

maybe someone admires me,

maybe someone somewhere,

in another universe,

someone is in love with me this time.

but in this life,

in this world,

it is me in love with everyone else.

the tall lanky boys with curly blonde locks,

the foreign girls with voices like angels,

maybe im meant to love the people no one else can--

or, should i say,

maybe im meant to love the people no one else will.

boys with emotional scars who always look on the bright side anyway,

girls with dimples so deep you'd think you were on a moon crater.

i love everyone,

anyone.

i fall so deep in love with every human my heart comes in contact with,

and maybe that's just what im supposed to do.

sure, i feel lonely,

or is it that i feel alone?

but i know my heart carries the weight of so many others,

that i guess in a sense,

i am full anyway.

i know someone somewhere loves me too,

just like i love the misfits and the outcasts,

the people who no one seems to turn to.

and they're just like me,

so i know,

i know,

someone, somewhere,

loves me too.
