It’s that time of year again

Children outside throwing snow

As the ground does glisten and glow

All the red-faced children get too cold

Because of the sleds, they've pulled

When they decide to come inside

Hot chocolate is the first thing on their mind

Its that time of year again

We need to get out our winter gear

We love the warmth of blankets

We sit by the glow of the fireplace

We hope the end of winter is near

Many trees inside and out

Many children did scream and shout

Many dollars are spent on this day

Many presents under the tree lay

Its that time of year again

Many carolers begin to sing  

The Christmas lights shine red and green

The softly sound of the sleigh bells hum

The best time of the year has come
