The Purpose of my Old Wall

I put up a wall
So people don't see
The person that they notice
Isn't really me
I put up a wall
So I can be free
To do what I need
So nobody sees
I have this wall
That pushes people away
To keep my secrets
Guarded and Kept
I have this wall
That keeps me alone
No matter how how hard I push
It won't go down
So here I am forever
Just me and my wall
Staying away from
The fun of it all.
