The Cry Of A Wolf
In the depth of the night
there is one true light
that I long to see up close
but must stay at a distance,
my cries every night
I hope reaches her ears
but I know deep down, that she won't hear
so I come from my den
night and night again
to see my one true love and call out her name
that bright sphere in the sky
that every night passes by
leaving me crying until the sun shall rise again

When I hear the wolf howl at night I feel like its crying for a love it will never reach. I feel a conection with this wolf and want to share its pain.
