7th Grade Girls
With our scrunchies that just came back in style to
Obsessing over tall boys
We are 7th grade girls
With our skinny ripped jeans and burgundy vans
We run the school
To our aesthetic instagrams and our hoop earrings
We go along with the stereotypes, play the part of who we’re supposed to be
But
There are days, days when we are not young women with snapchat filters and iPhones
But we are family
Joining together against sexism and dress codes and discrimination
We do it in our own way
Sometimes it doesn't seem enough
But we stand strong
We stand together as 7th grade girls
