She was everything at once.

the calm and the calamity

the logical and the impracticality

the equable and the whimsicality

destined for greatness, yet destined to fall

She was everything at once.

She was tried at every turn

and she kept going

she stared into the eyes of the devil himself

and she ran away with his power

She was everything at once, but still had her faults.

she was tried at every turn

and she cried after every battle

she stared into the eyes of the devil himself

but soon realized she couldn't handle the power

She was everything at once, until it wasn't enough.

so she tried to run from her problems

but you can't run from yourself

so she tried to fight her problems

but you can't fight yourself either

She was everything at once, but she couldn't be herself.

This poem is about the struggles of being a perfect person, but to only find out that being perfect isn't being yourself. We're all human at the end of the day and need to realize that being us is more important than being the perfect person. As much as you want to be perfect, you can't run away from yourself because at the end of the day, under all of the fake, you're all you have left, and you're not perfect.
