"I have endured pain and loss, I have felt broken, I have known hardship, and I have felt lost and alone. But here I stand, trying to move forward, one day at a time. I will remember the lessons in my life because they are making me who I am. Stronger. A warrior."

You almost had me fooled

You made me believe that you felt the same

You made me believe that you loved me

And now I'm the one to blame

I was so foolish to believe that anyone could love me

Who could love the mess that I am?

Just for a second, I thought you could be the one

But you left me heartbroken yet again

I want to say that I'm done

That I'm done trying for things that won't happen

Done with the useless wishing at eleven-eleven

No more searching for my own heaven

But even I know that I'm lying

I try to make myself believe this

But truth is, I'm just done trying

It's useless

I'm broken and used

And all they want is brand new

You broke me beyond repair

And all you do is sit and stare

But I see your hate like love

I've gotten so used to the pain

Now I just say that it's okay

Even though when I'm drowning

Instead of helping me out

You push me further down

And as soon as I get one step forward

You push me a mile back

I'm so lost because of you

Where can I go?

Where do I turn?

But you don't care

You just watch me burn

But I guess I'm used to it

I've got to accept it

It's all I have left

Because who could love the mess that I am?
