The Perfect Blend

To the world I’m just a game,
But to her,
I’m a radiant flame,
It’s the faith she shows,
That allows me to grow,
She always shares my joy,
But never fails to annoy,
She understands me even when I’m ravenous,
And does not judge me when I’m gluttonous,
When the world turns their back,
I know she won’t let me see it as black,
And when I wish to cry,
She’s the only one who won’t say goodbye
I wish to do the same,
To promise her a life of fame,
Oh lord protect her please,
And let her be forever at ease
For she is my best friend,
And together we’re the perfect blend
