What once burned bright,
With intensity and pride,
Now gives way to time,
And gives its final breath
Like a worn candle,
Its light goes out too,
Warmth becomes cold,
Another good thing comes to an end,
When it's here,
We give attention,
We give respect,
We give ourselves,
But now it's gone,
And we’ve no love to give,
No love to take,
No love to lose
