Free Verse From A Lonely Girl
Whether alone in a room or in the center of a crowd, I’m harassed by the same demons.
Loneliness follows me through mountains and valleys, joy and despair.
My thoughts are consumed by thick black clouds that can’t be swept away by passing winds.
So I scream from the center of this darkness, hoping at least one person will brave hidden terrors and rescue me.
